El día 2 de noviembre de 2018 el Dr. Fernando Nistal de Paz (adjunto MI) repasó varios artículos en base a tres temas:

• Cardiomiopatía amiloide por transtiretina:

– Wild-type transthyretin amyloidosis as a cause of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.

-Tafamidis treatment for patients with transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy.

• AAS:

-Aspirin for the primary prevention of cardiovascular events: a systematic evidence review for the US Preventive Services Task Force.

-Effects of aspirin for primary prevention in persons with diabetes mellitus.

-Effects of n-3 fatty acid supplements in diabetes mellitus.

-Use of aspirin to reduce risk of initial vascular events in patients at moderate risk of cardiovascular disease (ARRIVE): a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial.

-Effect of aspirin on all cause mortality in the healthy elderly.

-Effect of aspirin on cardiovascular events and bleeding in the healthy elderly.

-Effect of aspirin on disability free survival in the healthy elderly.
